Digital Keepsake – Data for Eternity
We live in a world where digital objects do not age any more and are replaced after an average of two years. Especially since digital data has become part of our lives and in fact has become our memories from the past. I see a disconnection between the data, that gains value by aging and the objects that are keeping all those important data but are losing value after time. I want to investigate how data can be saved in a meaningful way in order to hand on digital memories to friends, family or even the next generation.
